Taylor and Kyle’s love began as many modern day romances do – a dating app! They had their first date at Barrel Theory Beer Company in Lowertown, St. Paul. The couple says they aren’t ones for cliches, but it really did seem like they just knew. Talk about love at first sight!
Almost four years later, outside of the brewery where they shared their first kiss, Kyle proposed to Taylor. Of course she said yes and their wedding planning journey began! As they began searching for a venue, they found out Earl & Wilson was located in the same building as their first date, directly above the brewery. Naturally, this became the perfect fit for their intimate wedding day with all the sentimental value it held and great amenities they offer!
Taylor and Kyle’s wedding was a special one for the KUE team, as Taylor was a coordinator with Keyed Up Events from 2016-17. It was a great honor to be able to help her with her own day!
The ladies met up at the venue bright and early to get started on hair and makeup with the amazing Warpaint International. Once everyone was done with glam, Taylor slipped into her gown from Luxe Bridal and was looking absolutely stunning!
G. Marie Photography set the couple up to read each other’s vows in private before bringing them together for their first look. You could see any stress they were feeling wash away once they were together, we love this moment!
The couple then made their way around the venue to get portraits with G. Marie Photography. Their pup, Frankie, even joined them for a few. He was looking spiffy in his suit! You’ll also see plenty of decor incorporating Frankie into their day, so keep an eye out for that!
Once guests arrived and took their seats, it was time for the ceremony. They decided to have an intimate ceremony with their immediate families and two best friends. The cozy vibes of the venue matched the intimate setting perfectly. Taylor made her grand entrance with her father, looking as elegant as ever. Taylor’s brother, Ryan, officiated the ceremony and did a great job! The two lovebirds shared sweet words and a long awaited kiss in the company of their closest people. Then they made their way down the aisle as the newest Mr and Mrs!
The couple then enjoyed socializing with their guests during cocktail hour. You’ll see the first touch of Frankie here, as the drinks served up by Liquid Motion were on him! 😉 Meanwhile, the KUE team and other vendors were busy perfecting the reception space for dinner. The flowers from Studio B Floral were the perfect touch to add a bit of brightness to the space!
As cocktail hour wrapped up, we invited guests to take their seats in the reception space for dinner. Fork & Flair served up a delicious meal that left everyone full and satisfied! This led us directly into dessert. The couple wanted something different, so the ice cream sandwiches from Honey + Milk were perfect! Guests could get these whenever they wanted for the next couple of hours. Another option was cotton candy from Sweet Clouds Cotton Candy. Guests loved having these fun, unique options for a sweet treat after dinner!
Instant Request then got the music started for the first dances and seamlessly transitioned into opening up the dance floor for everyone to party the night away. We popped streamers for a great photo on the dance floor. It was truly a fun filled celebration all day long!
