If you are dreaming of having a Pinterest worthy fall wedding, this is the perfect real wedding inspiration for you! We were excited to work with Hunter and Jared who pulled together an amazing team of Minnesota wedding vendors for their big day at the stunning Machine Shop. One of the later vendors we helped point them towards was the getting ready location. Lead planner Dana helped find this space for the ladies, it’s conveniently located less than a 5 minute drive away from the venue. Not to mention it is completely photo worthy and makes the perfect backdrop for getting ready photos! Joining the ladies at The APT in the morning were the talented Simply Gorgeous Hair & Makeup and Ashley Artry. They were busy all morning making sure that the ladies’ hair and makeup were perfect! When it was time to get dressed, the guys put on their suits from The Black Tux and the bridesmaids put on their dresses from David’s Bridal. Hunter then slipped into her gown from Effie’s Bridal and everyone was ready to make their way to the Machine Shop!
Upon arrival at the venue, Hunter and Jared did their first look outside the front doors to the venue with the bridesmaids celebrating in the background. Bridget Couwenhoven Photography got busy taking portraits, couple photos, and wedding party photos (and we have to say she captured the love and excitement perfectly)!
The Keyed Up Events team was on site already to make sure everything was going according to plan. We answered questions, directed vendors, and assisted in setting up the decor. Hunt Wright Design Co. provided the paper goods and table number stands (she even did their wedding invites prior to the big day)! Phos and Linen Effects were also busy setting up rentals and lighting to amp up the venue location to look even more Pinterest worthy. And of course Tulips and a Kiss was there setting up the beautiful floral decor to bring the whole space together.
Around 4:30pm, Lake String Quartet began setting the mood for the ceremony. Guests were seated in the elegant space waiting for the ceremony to begin. What they didn’t know (actually only the couple knew), was that Hunter’s brother would be officiating the ceremony dressed as the Minister of Weddings. We love when couples throw their own fun twists to their day to make it unique! After the sweet ceremony filled with laughs and tears, the couple was officially married and it was time for the reception!
Machine Shop was ready to serve up the drinks right when cocktail hour started as they conveniently provide a bartending service! Guests then enjoyed a delicious meal from Crave and yummy desserts from Lisa Welter. Harmony DJ Entertainment was on top of all of the special first dance songs then kept the party going all night long! The Traveling Photo Booth was also there providing entertainment for guests throughout the night (also such a fun memory and keepsake for your guests)!
Bridget Couwenhoven Photography also made sure to sneak the couple out at the perfect time to capture some photos in the golden hour light. The pictures turned out truly Pinterest worthy! The bride, groom, and all of their guests spent the rest of the evening dancing, socializing, and having an all around amazing time!
