Windows at Marquette Wedding

Real Weddings

Margarita and John chose to have their wedding at a Minneapolis venue with one of the best views – Windows at Marquette. This venue is located on the 50th floor of the IDS Tower, making for great views of the city all day long! This also allows for guests to just walk across Crystal Court because Marquette Hotel is conveniently connected to the venue.

Margarita was a medical resident in North Dakota, so even though they did the planning themselves, we were available to provide insight and answer any questions. One thing we helped with was transportation. The couple knew that they wanted photos at Stone Arch, but had not thought through needing transportation to get the whole wedding party there. We were able to connect them with Gray Line who made sure everyone made the trip safely.

In the morning, the ladies got ready with Sandy Xiong Beauty. Thankfully, when we helped with their timeline we realized that they would need an extra artist for hair and makeup. This helped the morning go smoothly and everything was able to stay on schedule! The bridesmaids put on their pink dresses from the Wedding Shoppe and Margarita slipped into her gown from RSVP by Alan Evans. The guys were busy putting on their suits from Halberstadt’s to ensure they were ready to meet up with the ladies for photos.

While the wedding party was busy getting ready and traveling around the city to capture amazing pictures with Evan Sowder Photography, there were many vendors working to prep the venue. The couple utilized a lot of our Keyed Up Rentals to make up the decor of the space. They also had florals from HyVee – Robbinsdale which elevated the space to perfection!

The ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Olaf Catholic Church. The bride and groom were both escorted by their parents which was a really sweet touch! The couple had a traditional Catholic ceremony with their family and friends there to support them. It was truly a wonderful experience! RA Studios was there to ensure that the whole thing was perfectly filmed to relive for years to come.

After the ceremony, Gray Line was there to shuttle guests back to the hotel for the reception. Everyone enjoyed socializing during cocktail hour while awaiting a delicious dinner from Windows at Marquette. We helped to get guests seated once the meal was ready to be served. We also made sure that all of the speeches were given on time and worked with the DJ to ensure they were ready for every next step. Dessert was a beautiful cake from HyVee – Robbinsdale that had perfect little floral details.

The night ended with Bellagala keeping the energy up with great music. The dance floor was never empty! Guests also were entertained by taking fun photos throughout the night at VIP Photo Booth. Oh, and we also made sure that the couple got stunning sunset photos with Evan Sowder Photography. We seriously can’t get over these romantic images! Margarita and John had a truly beautiful wedding and we are so glad we were able to share this journey with them.
