The Cottage Farmhouse Wedding

We first met Isabelle and Caden through Pique Travel Event Space, the venue we used to manage. Their connection to us started when Caden’s parents hosted their rehearsal dinner there. After a great conversation, it quickly became clear: they needed KUE at their wedding too! Their celebration at The Cottage Farmhouse was one to remember — filled with thoughtful details, heartwarming moments, and a whole lot of joy.

Isabelle and Caden’s love story began in sophomore year of high school. Isabelle had just transferred and they had one class together. Caden sat next to her on the first day — and as Isabelle says, “the rest is history.” They’ve been together since January 2018, and their barn wedding was a beautiful next chapter in their journey.

When it came time to choose a venue, The Cottage Farmhouse was an easy decision. The couple was drawn to the space because it created a deep sense of comfort. They love being outdoors and surrounded by good company, and TCF made that dream come true. Add to that the shared goal of making sure everyone attending had a great time, and it’s no surprise this venue became their top pick. Although the original plan was for an outdoor ceremony, we knew early in the week that the field wouldn’t be usable due to heavy rain. Luckily, The Cottage Farmhouse has a stunning indoor barn space that became the perfect ceremony setting.

While The Cottage Farmhouse provides excellent support on the day-of, having KUE as their wedding coordinator added a layer of detail and personalization no venue alone can provide. Being the first among their friends and siblings to get married, Isabelle and Caden appreciated having someone to walk them through vendor services, final decisions, and all the tiny details that made a big difference.

Isabelle’s morning was great and beautiful as she got ready with her closest people, styled to perfection by Katie Bjorklund (hair) and Samantha Martineau (makeup). Meanwhile, Caden and his groomsmen has some of the most iconic shirts we’ve seen!

One of the most touching parts of the day? 13 grandparents and great-grandparents were present and involved in the ceremony — a rare and heartwarming blessing.

Bella Vita Studios captured every moment of the day, while Harvest Film Co. created stunning video footage that will help the couple relive the day forever.

From the custom ceremony arch to the rustic charm of the barn, this wedding was packed with personality. Every detail was intentional — the mix of textures, wood tones, soft lighting, and greenery. The florals by Mimi’s Florals were a standout, tying the entire vision together with elegant, organic arrangments.

The Battered Spoon brought the sweet with a dessert display that delighted guests and matched the couple’s vibe perfectly.

The best part of the night? The photo booth and “Leave a Message” audio guest book (two of our favorite things!). Guests left messages for Isabelle and Caden to treasure for years. These touches brought personality and fun to the reception and gave everyone another way to be part of the love story.

Isabelle’s cowboy bride hat added a bold and fun twist to her wedding look. Paired with the couple’s matching Mr. and Mrs. sneakers, their wedding was everything they wanted and so much more!

Isabelle and Caden’s barn wedding at The Cottage Farmhouse was the perfect blend of rustic charm and personal flair.
