A Magical Wedding Under a Clear Top Tent

Real Weddings

Elizabeth and Daniel always wanted a small wedding, so when they ended up with a 50 person guest list during COVID, it still let them have the wedding they wanted. The wedding was held at Daniel’s family cabin and land in Wisconsin, so we needed to build a small venue from the ground up with a clear top tent, tables, chairs, restrooms, etc. Ultimate Events was crucial in making this mini-venue come to life! Elizabeth and Daniel also knew they didn’t want a BBQ-style meal, which is most of what was available in the area. So, we connected them with Deco Catering who was available on their date and licensed to serve in Wisconsin (need to keep those things in mind when crossing state lines)!

The couple utilized some of our favorite vendors from our preferred list, Wilderland Floral and Hunt Wright Design Co. We were also able to help save the couple time and money by bringing items from Hunt Wright Design to the wedding and bringing items from Wilderland Floral back for them (one of the huge bonuses of working with our Preferred Vendors)!

The day started out with all of the ladies meeting up to get their hair and makeup done. Kaylee Rose and Becca Schilling were busy perfecting the girls’ updos while Renee Riebel focused on doing some amazing makeup for them! During this time the guys were enjoying a morning out boating. The couple didn’t do a First Look, so our team needed to always be on the lookout before the ceremony so they didn’t cross paths. We also made sure we gave them enough time afterwards to do photos and get some alone time together.

Around noon, all of the vendors started rolling in to contribute to the big day! Wilderland Floral arrived to deliver all of the florals needed for the day, including bouquets, arrangements, and an arch installment. We worked with the vendors to ensure they had everything they needed and knew where to go. We also placed the couple’s decor, including our gold chargers that the couple used at the head table. They decided the chargers would be a perfect fit since it was farmhouse style and they just wanted a little bit of color while still keeping the rustic and elegant feel.

When it came time for the ceremony, some friend’s of the couple began their string quartet music. The guests arrived by shuttle with Kobussen Buses who was right on schedule! Elizabeth was escorted down the aisle by her father and she looked absolutely stunning! The ceremony was so sweet and we absolutely loved the birch branch arch with the floral installments. After they shared a kiss they made their way down the aisle overflowing with happiness. Adam Kennedy did an amazing job capturing this moment!

The couple went out with Adam Kennedy and the bride’s cousin Gabe Roeske after the ceremony to get some more photos and videos. The wedding party joined them for some shots as well and the girls mauve dresses looked perfect with the bouquets!

After dinner everyone enjoyed desserts from Lunds and Byerly’s and Elizabeth and Daniel did a cake cutting. They made their way to the dance floor shortly after to do their first dance. The clear top tent with cage lights made it look like they were dancing under the stars! Adam Kennedy captured the magic of the moment beautifully. The first dance was followed by the parent dances which were so sweet. After the dances were complete, DJ Brendan Casey welcomed everyone to the dance floor and kept everyone on their feet all night long! Around 11:00, Kobussen Buses departed to take all of the guests back to their hotel after a satisfying night full of love, laughter, and good times!
