Brittney and Sean came to us with their venue, the stunning Beach Club in Minneapolis, already booked. They began to realize that planning a Minnesota wedding all the way from Seattle was challenging, so they knew they wanted a lot of help locally. This is when they contacted us and decided we would be a great fit for their situation. We work with many couples who are planning their wedding in Minnesota from across the country, so we had plenty of experience in this. We are familiar with local businesses, so we focused on finding other vendors who had worked at the Beach Club before. This way we could ensure they would know how to get great photos and videos there and the best ways to decorate it to give it the timeless wedding vibe they were looking for.
The couple decided to go with our All-Inclusive package so that they wouldn’t feel like they had any constraints on what they needed us to do. One of the things that our couples love most about this package is that we take control over the shuttle planning. This part of wedding planning can be overwhelming and time consuming. If you book our All-Inclusive package, we will do all of your shuttle coordination to ensure the timing is right and all your guests have a safe ride back to the hotel. For Brittney and Sean, we worked with Minnesota Coaches (one of our favorites), to plan safe rides to and from the venue back to the hotels. When guests were getting picked up from the hotels to head to the venue, we had assistants at both DoubleTree and Homewood Suites direct them onto the shuttles (yet another perk of this package)!
The morning of the wedding started out with Calisto from our team as the wedding party concierge. This is another special component of our All-Inclusive package! Calisto took all of the robes, gifts, and other items the MOB had given her the day before to set up in the bridal suite at the venue so it would be ready to go when the ladies arrived. LHN Beauty met them in the suite to begin hair and makeup that would last through all of the emotions and activities of the day ahead (and they looked stunning)!
Meanwhile, many of the other vendors were arriving and prepping their contributions for the wedding day. We provided all of the decor other than the vases (which were from Sadie’s Floral) and the gold flatware (which was from Apres and Festivities). Another great part of our All-Inclusive package is that you get access to our rental decor at no extra charge! Sadie’s Floral was also on site setting up all of the beautiful arrangements that they made, truly bringing the whole room together. After seeing everything in place, it was obvious that we had captured the timeless wedding look that we had been aiming for!
Since D’Amico runs the venue, they were busy on site all day! They provided breakfast and lunch for the wedding party, catering, bar, desserts, and late night snack. This makes many of the planning components (and day of) feel seamless.
Once Brittney was done with hair and makeup, she slipped into her beautiful gown from Annika Bridal Boutique and met her groom for a first look on the staircase. Marit Williams then took the couple outside to get portraits where they were met by their puppy, Maya. They are obsessed with their pup, so they had her as the flower dog in their ceremony (and you can’t blame them, she’s pretty adorable)!
One thing that we love to do is get our All-Inclusive couples a gift. Since we work so in depth with them, we form a relationship that is worthy of a “We did it!” gift. Knowing that the couple loves Maya dearly, we opted to have Merimoi Press create an illustration of the three of them. Brittney said later that getting it was her favorite part of the day (which seriously means the world to us)!
After getting in their much needed wedding day puppy cuddles, their wedding party joined them to get a few group photos outside.
The ceremony was beautifully set up with a gold round arch and white florals. The mirror wall behind the arch is a fun touch as you can see the happy reactions of all of their guests behind them! Loring String and Piano provided wonderful music for the ceremony. Everyone was delighted to celebrate the new Mr and Mrs!
Guests enjoyed socializing during cocktail hour and happily made their way to their seats for the delicious dinner (and beautiful cake) from D’Amico. Waiting for each guest at their place setting was a customized cookie from Grey Duck Cookie. This was such a fun touch that guests absolutely loved! We enjoyed helping the couple add their own details to their day to make it unique, but still maintain the timeless wedding feel.
Instant Request was in charge of music, and they did not disappoint! They did a custom logo for the couple that was projected onto the dance floor and the couple opted for the upgraded booth and Black Tie DJ (which was well worth it). The couple did their first dance, followed by the sweet parent dances. Afterwards, Instant Request opened the dance floor up to all of the guests and it was filled with happily dancing guests all night long. Hard Copy Films was able to capture some clips of the dance floor throughout the night (plus fun moments throughout the whole day). Be sure to check out their wedding video HERE. Guests were also entertained by The Traveling Photo Booth and loved that they had a keepsake to remember this fun day by.
We are so happy that we were able to get to know Brittney and Sean and help bring their day to life from across the country!
