Lumber Exchange Wedding in Minneapolis

Our journey with Dani and Joe all started with Dani’s mother, Lynn, contacting us. The bride was busy with work, so the MOB was in charge of finding an amazing planner to help manage the day. This is where we came in!

Dani put a lot of thought and care into the details of the wedding. A few of our favorites were the records for the guest book, the chargers, and the cookies at each place setting.

Since their ceremony was taking place at Holy Cross Church, they didn’t have a bridal suite to get ready in. We were excited to hear that they were at one of our favorite bridal suite alternatives, The APT, which made for the perfect space to prep in. Lady Vamp Artistry and Taylor Marie Beauty met the ladies at The APT to help get them glammed for the special day ahead and they did not disappoint. Everyone looked absolutely stunning! Everyone then put on their attire; Danielle in her Gilded Rose Atelier gown, the bridesmaids in their Bella Bridesmaids dresses, and all the guys in their Milbern suits at Lumber Exchange. They were all dressed to the nines! Dani’s first look with her bridesmaids says it all.

The couple did their first look on the rooftop, which made for an even more stunning reveal. They then took couple photos and wedding party photos in the same location (and some other spots around town via Renee’s Limousines). Carly Mac Photography made sure to capture the moments and she nailed it every time!

The ceremony was beautiful with many special details incorporated throughout. One that we loved was that Dani wore her grandma’s ring on her right hand. They also had traditional components like lighting their unity candle. Overall, the ceremony was so special and everyone shared tears of joy and happy laughter.

The couple chose Lumber Exchange as their reception venue, which made catering and bar service an easy decision because they provide those services. Linen Effects provided white, floor-length linens to elevate the dining experience. We brought their items from the ceremony to be reused at the venue. This meant that the beautiful arrangements from Artemisia Studios were able to be seen all day long! We also had spent the early afternoon setting up all of the reception decor and making sure that everything was in place for when all of the guests would arrive. This included setting up the donut wall with HyVee donuts and our dessert trays for the other treats (and cake) from Allison’s Petite Pastries. After everything was set up, Dani and Joe entered the space for a room reveal. It’s always so fun to see their faces light up when they see their vision come to life!

Everyone enjoyed their delicious dinner from Lumber Exchange, followed by all the yummy sweets. There were plenty of toasts that brought the guests from tears to belly laughs (the best kind of speeches) and everyone had so much fun socializing. Carly Mac also provided her photo booth setup which all the guests enjoyed using.

Tornadojally was in charge of all things sound that night and he nailed every second of it! The best part of dancing would probably have to be the surprise choreographed dance that Dani did with her mom! It definitely got everyone cheering and ready to hit the dance floor. We’re so glad that Precious Film Co. was there to capture all of these moments so we can relive this day forever!
